That's bogus, but I guess it's for the sake of safety. Hope the video doesn't become too short.

Well, I can always post the info that had to be removed in this topic ;-)

Hey, I was wondering if anyone knew if T2:3D was still going on at Universal Studios Hollywood CA. I haven't been there in ages, and would love to see this show. We live in Southern California, and the wife took the summer off, so we are doing all kinds of cool stuff. I see the commercials for the new King Kong 3D attraction there, opening in July, but I'm hoping that that doesn't mean the T2:3D is gone now.

Thanks for any info.
Sam

T2:3D was still there as of my most recent visit last year. King Kong 360 is part of the studio tour (the tram ride), so there's no danger of the T2:3D building being repurposed for that. Not only that, but checking the Universal Studios Hollywood website, T2:3D is still listed among the current attractions.

It's safe to say the T2:3D attraction will be there when you visit this summer.

Got the list. Have to cut about 4 -5 minutes (mostly technically difficulties and securiy stuff).

Well, such a video is not allowed to be posted on this forum because it is considered illegal.

There's probably not much incentive for them to do so while the attraction is still open. Although, with 3D televisions having the real potential to soon become a household item, a genuine home version of T2:3D is a theoretical possibility. Although, given a choice between T2 and T2:3D, I'll take T2. Thankfully, that one is a lot more likely. :D

In terms of light level and general look, it is indeed a dark future. On the other hand, it does have some unfortunate one-liners. But it is a family-oriented theme park attraction, so I understand why they did it.

Just got back from Universal Studios Hollywood today, and the T2:3D attraction was awesome. Wasn't a long wait, got right in, and the thing was very well done. I would have bought a lot of items in the shop, but decided to save my money...I have so much Terminator items as it is.

Was a blast, but the park got over full of rude people very fast, so, we took off around 2:30, after doing the park tour, and a few rides (no waiting, since I'm disabled... so got a free fast pass)

Glad I got to see this great attraction.

 So are you trying to tell us you don't "bust a move" every day?

Why would you want to do that? Terminators are forever, like Diamonds are, lol! And besides, don't they have a lot of exclusive "in-store only" merchandise like this T2-3D light-eyes Endoskeleton figure? Did you see anything T-70 related you could purchase?

No, I'm saying I don't go around blowing up my college roommates.
