That's good news. What has my curiosity sparked, is just where the storyline will go; particularly given all of the fan fiction out there. I've been reading a lot of fan fic lately, and I've changed my thinking abit.

Can you give me a list of web sites you visit as sources of fan fiction? :)

I've spent most of my time over at FanFiction.net http://www.fanfiction.net/tv/Terminator_Sarah_Connor_Chronicles/
One of my favorites is The Secret Diary of Cameron Baum , which is listed elsewhere around here, I think.

I've read other ff from Sarah Connor Chronicles specific sites, but I don't recall which sites had the better stories.

If you know of SCC ff you enjoyed, let me know. I'd love to read it.

Hoping this thing gets off the ground at some point. Would love to actually have some form of closure for the series.

Ah I used to love fanfiction.net. I stopped going over there when spoilers were coming up for SCC. Really must head back over there sometime.

So i haven't visited the forum in a while,i was still upset( and still am ) that one of my favorite shows got canceled.

So i wanted to came here and see what`s what, and what people are talking about ,and i see this !!! God im so happy right now!!I really hope they make the movie as soon as possible .Maybe the movie could even jump start the show again!

I know its wishful thinking but if enough people are interested in it,i might happen.

That would be pretty cool if they made a DVD movie out of TSCC. The season finale of season two was kinda confusing. It seemed as if John Connor was in some kind of trouble maybe, with Derek saying "Your gonna be famous kid", did he mean infamous? Anywho, it seemed like there was a bunch of stuff left unsaid. Too bad they cancelled it, it seems like there could have been a good season 3. Dekker definately portrayed a good teenage John Connor though.

This showed deserved a movie just like Firefly did.

The only thing that disturbs me is that it's unlikely to be a theatrical one.

One more thing . . . I'm not sure if I want it to be "wrapped up" and finished. I think they should always leave open the possibility of another continuation. :) The movie should resolve plot holes and answer unanswered questions.

He says "We might be doing a DVD movie and that's secret."

As a follow up to this thread, Bryan Austin Green finally speaks about his efforts to make a DVD movie for TSCC.

These are the interesting tidbits BAG mentioned or hinted:
> All of the actors are ready and willing to jump back into any continuation, though Lena is currently pregnant at the moment.
> They're pushing to involve Josh Friedman in the writing, but if he is unavailable they're planning to bring in Zach Stenz (and possibly Ashley Miller) and the writers from "Goodbye To All That" to work on it instead.
> James Middleton is in partnership with someone (unnamed) and they're working together to broker a deal for the future.
> A series isn't quite what they're aiming for. A DVD movie or even a proper film is their goal.
> The movie will continue the story exactly how it was supposed to, but they hope that if it's successful they can create a sequel to take it up a notch.
> When asked if fans could donate towards the project, Brian stated that this would be unnecessary as funding is available.

Woohoo!

While this can be good news, there is still something about it that doesn't make it 100% completely official, and therefore nothing to be too excited for. :|

That's true. It's just an actor saying something that another actor had already been saying. That by itself isn't necessary a problem, but both actors can't commit to anything more concrete than actors being willing and people being in talks. Sony and Lionsgate were in talks with Pacificor. That sure didn't go anywhere. Lots of high-profile movies have been in development limbo for years or decades. And we're not talking about a high-profile movie here. We're talking about a movie based on a TV show that was cancelled due to poor ratings. While Joss Whedon somehow managed to get a feature film based on 'Firefly' made, that movie earned less money worldwide than was spent filming it. The rabid cult following 'Firefly' had did not translate to a successful feature film, and it's likely that execs will take that into account when deciding whether or not to green-light a T:SCC movie. Without some official word from the sorts of people that can actually make a movie happen, enthusiastic claims from optimistic actors mean nothing.
